Dr. John Stanley Caskey, MD

His nurse practitioner, Sandra Guebelle who works in pre-anesthesia screening at Christus St Vincent's Physicians Center told me when I asked a question "I don't have time for this". Also commented on the large leather Country Living bag I was carrying that day asking me "Is your bag big enough today?" On my second visit to Caskey Medical Group another Nurse Practitioner when I complained of pain in the abdominal area her only reply was I'm not going to do a pelvic exam on you until I know you better. Excuse me??? If you are treated poorly by a Nurse Practitioner at a Christus St Vincent establishment and file a complaint...don't let Dr. Caskey talk you into changing primary care to his office because you will not be treated well there.

Great great doctor

Santa Fe medicine is almost all a monopoly of the only hospital in town and almost every doctor is in its employ. Dr. Caskey is a rare exception. He is also brilliant, highly educated medically and otherwise and interested in his patients. We feel very fortunate to have him as our primary care physician, knowing that we are getting a lot more than the we would from a run of the mill internist.

He is an excellent, highly knowledgeable internist. We are pleased to leave him as our primary doctor.

I sense that Dr. Caskey is truly interested in the welfare of his patients, and that I am receiving excellent medical attention when I visit with him. I could not be more pleased in locating him.

Highly competent and clearly qualified. Do not like that I am referred to his nurse practitioner most often rather than seeing him directly. Not sure what it takes to see Dr. Caskey directly.

A supremely capable physician offering a combined whole body approach to healing. Among the very best I have ever visited in 60 years.

Dr. Caskey is intelligent, caring, and is clearly committed to giving high quality care to his patients. His office staff are top notch and have done an incredible job with accommodating my schedule when I need an appointment. Also, they have gone out of their way to notify me if my appointment time needs to be rescheduled.

Most courteous, patient and thorough care provided in Santa Fe. Represents what doctors always used to care about, humanity rather than pure business.
