Dr. John Timothy Cope, MD

I've gone to a doctor in Gainesville for more than 30 years and was looking for someone closer to home. Had my first visit on October 8th and it was a great experience. Highly recommend. Met with Katie and she was thorough.

I had an appointment scheduled and their office called me at the last minute, TWICE to reschedule my appointment. I had taken time off work both times to make this appointment. On the third scheduled day, I had an emergency at work and couldn't make the appointment. Dr. Cope's office had the audacity to send me a bill for $25 no-show fee after they cancelled on me twice! I think I'll send them a bill for my lost time at work! They need to understand that their patients have work/life schedules as well.

I find it very difficult to see one star reviews for this wonderful physician and his staff. I have been under Dr Cope's care for the past 18 years and he has always been very professional and caring. Often giving recommendations to assist an old man to live better. He is high on exercise and proper diets. His personality is great and he is willing to answer my many questions related to my health. I have always received respect and friendliness from his wonderful staff including the fine young man on the reception desk. Couldn't ask for a better doctor to give me and my wife the proper care in our old age.

Dr. Cope and staff provide dedicated attention to their patients and go above and beyond expectations. He strongly promotes preventive care and does not tolerate rude or inappropriate patients.

The staff are very caring and helpful. The sweet young lady that helped me named Cheryl was such a big help. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable. I definitely will be a return patient.

The guy at the front desk that looks like girl is rude and the nurse Jennifer never smiles very rude staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cope's for 20 years. He always takes plenty of time to explain everything to me, listens to my questions and shows deep concern for my health. His staff is always friendly and helpful.

John Cope is the most personable, caring doctor I have ever had. He has been my physician for 20 years and I pray I never have to find another.
