Dr. John David Dahm, MD

During the past year and over the course of several visits, I have received excellent health care delivered in a direct, informative, and compassionate manner. Dr. Dahm provided me with the appropriate amount of time to ask and answer questions. Followup appointments were appropriate and timely and confirmed by pleasantly efficient staff. It is my pleasure to say Dr. Dahm is my ENT physician.

My Husband and I have had Dr. Dahm as our ENT for many years.

Dr. Dahm is an expert, but he may come across as brisk in terms of "bedside manner". Doctors live with much stress trying to do what is right for their patients. If a doctor is late, it is usually because there was a complex health problem to deal with...so, bring your work, a book, an iPad, sewing, etc. and be glad to be there.

To speak of his thorough nature, he noted areas of interest (with imaging) located in the apex of my lungs. Dr Dahm performed surgery to remove vocal nodes. He was an hour late to show up, nurses mentioned he is a great surgeon but operates on Dr. Dahm time. Follow up visit, waited 45 minutes in waiting room, just to wait another 45 in the exam room. With what insurance pays and my valuable time, why do doctors assume their time is so much more important than patients time. He is a talented doctor but if you expect an average wait time you will be very disappointed.

Both my husband and I saw Dr. Dahm for different problems over the last few months. We both felt that he was attentive and earnest in his communications. He called with tests results the day promised. The office staff was helpful in answering questions and forwarding records.They were never rude. We wanted prospective patients to hear that we had had positive experiences.

Waited for over an hour in the waiting room. Then waited again for 40 minutes or so in the exam room. Never saw the doctor. Demanded a refund of my co-pay and left. The staff was rude. At some point, somebody should have explained the delay or at last apologized for it. Dreadful service.
