Dr. Randal C Paniello, MD

Please save yourself and not see Dr. Paniello. I have regretted it for 15+ years!

Seems that he makes useless appointments, we have to travel 4 to 5 hours for an appointment then to be told that he does not have all the records he needs or just visits with patient and sends on our way some of this could have been done with a phone call. Then he tells us that have to have other appointments with other doctors for treatment when these should have been scheduled at the same time as his useless appointment this is extremely tiring on the patient as well as people transporting him.I'm sure he is a good Doctor but sure don't take patient into consideration as far a travel

For more than 10 yrs now the right side of my tongue has been paralyzed from having an operation by Randall C Paniello after a dentist bruised my nerve from an injection. I finally spoke with him about a year ago to see if he could reconnect the nerve that he seperated his answer was no you can not and why he recommended an operation to remove more nerve he said it was like an electrical wire that when it touches it arcs, in reality your nerves are supposed to be connected. After meeting with him years later he denied everything. He said I told him I wanted my tongue numb. Also I asked him if he had ever performed this operation before his answer was no. Which tells me he had no idea of the after effects of this operation.

After a thyroidectomy, Paniello announced to me that I in fact had thyroid cancer and that "we will be seeing each other until one of us dies." At the next appt. he kept me waiting in a cold windowless room for an hour until I finally just left. I complained to the hospital about these encounters and Paniello called me and said they were working on the hvac system (?), not mentioning anything about the "until one of us dies" comment. No, I can't believe I actually went back for another appointment during which he started talking about his dogs, the "male" and the "-itch", saying "-itch" while he was looking me straight in the eye. I asked for another ent doc. When I saw him he said that Dr. Paniello had told him all about me. I don't go to Siteman anymore--too much arrogance.
