Dr. John Richard Deforest, DO

In my opinion, this doctor lacks strong clinical assessment skills. He appears able to diagnose very basic health issues. If you know what is wrong and what medication you need, it is likely you will be pleased. If you are unsure of what your injury or illness is, are looking for anything other than routine care, or are seeking a doctor who will be aggressive about catching and responding to potential life threatening crisis/issues, you would likely receive better care elsewhere.

Excellent and very personal, courteous and professional, treats patients as if they were family.

Dr. is amazing. Staff is horrible. The have and attitude on the phone and are rude. I have heard them talk to other patients this way. They seem like they do not want to work there. Terrible customer service.

I have been a patient of Dr. Deforest for about 15 years. He is a great doctor! Very caring, compassionate and always takes his time when he meets with you. Listens to your cares and concerns, always. The nurses are great, however Melissa the secretary has an attitude 9 times out of 10.

Nancy, the Nurse Practitioner is wonderful. Dr. DeForest is rushed and does not give a full physical exam, so he misses things.His office staff and assistants can be rude, quite uncaring. The scale is where everyone passes by and gets to look while they weigh you. There is a lack of privacy and security.

Dr. DeForest is an excellent, caring physician.
