Dr. John Oliver Dejordy, MD

Dr. Dejordy is on the top of my list for dermatologists. I have never felt rushed during my exam time. He gives his patients his full attention. He explains his findings and treatments thoroughly. He encourages questions. Sometimes the waiting room gets a little backed up, but I never really mind waiting. We don’t know what he may have discovered during someone else’s exam who preceded us. Take your time, Dr. John. Your expertise is greatly appreciated by all those patients you have kept healthy!

John DeJordy is an excellent physician with a friendly staff. He offers a complete body exam every visit. He takes the time to explain things to his patients! I never feel rushed when I go there which I have been doing for many, many years.

Dr DeJordy is an excellent dermatologist who provides care to his own patients and willingly takes emergency patients. You may have to wait even when you have an appointment because of the great demand for his services. There are always emergency patients squeezed in that may delay your scheduled appointment time. Best to bring a book and not schedule something else right after your appointment. He is the only dermatologist we have for many miles around.

YES, you have to wait in the waiting room and in the check up room but I would rather wait for a doctor that is so good at his job than one that does a poor and quick job of finding skin cancer on me and my body and face and taking quick and right care of me, knowing he had done the check up and follow up correctly and not as fast as he can to get more patients in and out faster. He has compassion, not easy to find in doctors these days and he will sit and talk to you and help you with your fears......and explain what is wrong and how he will help fix it. To me this is the kind of doctor I would wait for as long as it takes to see.

I went for treatment of rosacea and was given a whole body exam which picked up a basal cell carcinoma on my back. I would have never seen this area. I did not feel the wait time was excessive a s Dr Dejordy is the only dermatologist in the area and is therefore very busy. Waiting in his office with a TV and magazines is much better than driving an hour or more to see someone else. Very pleased!
