Dr Dobrowski is an Ear, nose & throat specialist who specializes in sleep apnea and sleep medicine. He welcomes you with a big, bright smile that lights up the room. He has a gentle soul which makes you feel like you are speaking to a friend. If you are someone who gets anxious when seeing doctors you will soon be at peace because he is genuinely a warm and compassionate person as well. He is experienced and knowledgeable. I have had sleep apnea for more than 25 yrs and this doctor is by far the best. I highly recommend him. ?

I came to him with severely enlarged tonsils with associated sleep apnea. Although he is a very nice man, I was surprised by his treatment methods. He preferred to put me (a healthy, young 24 yr old man) on CPAP for the rest of my life instead of a tonsillectomy. He gave me many frightening statistics about tonsillectomies and how I should avoid having it done. About 3 months into treatment and learning of several friends who have had their tonsils out as adults with no problems, I requested a surgical consult with him where in addition to taking my tonsils out he wanted to do a bunch of other work to "ensure there would be no remaining sleep apnea" including fixing my deviated septum and something with my uvula. I eventually sought a second opinion where I learned that his treatment for me was absolutely absurd and that taking my tonsils out would definitely cure my mild sleep apnea and are the sole reason for my problem as they were notably massive. Again- nice man but his treatment… plans did not work for me and that is why I moved on to another doctor.

He is a very good and thorough doctor but his assistant is absolutely horrible- she constantly rushes you off the phone and doesn't answer your questions. I was going to complain...

Dr Dobrowski is so down to earth and I trust him entirely. He doesn't order anything that will cost extra and is unnecessary. He's very thorough and invested in his patients care. I can't recommend him enough. His staff are also amazing

This doctor was respectful and went beyond what he had to do to help me. My ear issue was surely underwhelming for him but I was really worried about it. He was respectful, listened to me, made an assessment, recommendations, wrote an Rx, and did a simple thing that relieved worrisome symptoms I had been having for months! I was also grateful that he took the time to hear me, ask questions and give information that he could have left up to another specialist (because I have an issue of another system that I believed was affecting my ear) and he offered to make a referral or two for me if I have trouble getting those otherwise (that he could have left up to other doctors). Also the staff there were great. I received a hearing screening from the efficient but thorough staff who also explained the results, which helped me feel like I was getting plenty of answers and peace of mind for my visit. If there are issues found on your screening you are able to check in with the doctor again… that day about the results. At least that's what they described the day I was there, which some of the regular patients said was busy.

I went into this appointment with really high hopes-he is affiliated with an exceptional hospital to which I have been to before and had a wonderful experience. I just felt like there was no bedside manner, I felt like a number and not a person, that he never really took the time to stop and listen to me and my concerns and needs. I left the visit feeling very uneasy and anxious and to be honest more confused then when I had gotten there.
