Dr. John Ibrahim Dogan, MD

We came from Turkey to deliver our child in Houston and Dr Dogan was our first choice on a friend's recommendation. We came 2 months prior to the birth and we had scheduled C-sectoin. He was better than we expected. He was attentive, helpful, available 24/7. He even help our communication with hospital. He made us felt like we were home. He was on call when I was admitted to Methodist Willowbrook Hospital a few years ago. I had never met him before, but he saved my life! He is my Angel. I had a ruptured fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnancy as a result of IVF and another doctor. The other dr misdiagnosed me, but Dr. John Dogan saved my life!

I love Dr Dogan! My husband and I were so thrilled when we found out he does all lab work and ultrasounds in his office! He is incredibly caring and he delivered our perfect "happy baby", as he says. Wait times at his office are pretty standard, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, as expected with an OB office. When I went, there were a lot of staff changes going on so it was hard to get to know any of the staff. That would probably be the only negative thing I have to say because Dr. Dogan knows what he's doing and always made me feel reassured that my pregnancy was going great!

My appointment was @ 10:30. I waited over an hour until noon and was asked to return at one because the doctor had to leave at noon. IT was more like ...

I was seeing a different Dr. before going to Dr. Dogan office, and I was happy with the change. Dr. Dogan perfomed the ultrasounds and tests himself and always asked me if I had any questions at every visit. He never seemed rushed to leave the office or upset. I called to his office a couple of times, for I had a concern, and he did return my phone calls himself. He was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The nurses in his office were great and corteous as well as the receptionists. Although, he didnot deliver my baby. He went out of town the day I was in labor, and in his place it was Dr. Stephanie Smith, she is the Dr. that covers him when he is not available. Dr Smith was great as well, she was very patient and supportive eventhough I was not her regular patient I felt like I was. She checked on me twice while I was in the Hospital, and so did Dr. Dogan the next day at 5 AM when he arrived.I delivered a healthy baby boy or "happy baby" as Dr. Dogan says. On the… check ups following after the delivery Dr. Dogan was as attentive as always, he didnot seem to care less and if I have another pregnancy I plan to go with him again. I hope he doesnot change the quality of his service as he gets busier. His office is very simple nothing fancy but the quality of the care is 5 stars. As for the the Cy Fair Hospital I found very bad reviews for the ER, but as for the Maternity Care Unit, they are awesome! There are many OBGYN around this area, but as I made my research most of them had excellent and terrible reviews at the same time. Dr Dogan was the only one with one good review so I took my chances with him and I am glad for my choice!HE PROVIDE AND EXCELLENT CARE, YOU WILLNOT REGRET HIM!

I am so happy with this doctor! This is my first pregnancy and he has made me feel so secure and has answered every question I have had and reassured my concerns. He takes time with each of his patients and is nice and down to earth. He knows his stuff and does not take shortcuts. He sees all of his patients rather than having a nurse or a NP do the general appointments. I would defiantly recommend this doctor!
