Dr. John F Dongas, MD

This doctor is very arrogant when speaking to his patients. He sent my husband to the University of Chicago to see a doctor. They do all sorts of tests. He had all his tests results faxed over to Dr. Dongas and he hasn’t even looked at the results. He flips through the pages and says “I don’t agree with what they suggest.” Dr. Dongas performs the procedures that they suggests in the reports. He tells us to follow him (as he walks off to another room and says “don’t set up an appointment with me”. This doctor should not be practicing in this field or any field when he does not care about his patients. Other patients I know have also complained about his bad bedside manners. They wil not go back to him or advise anyone else to see him. Complaining to DuPage Medical Management does not do any good. He needs to be reported to the Medical Board. My husband has also completed and sent in the survey to DuPage Medical.

He is very condescending.

The most insensitive dr I've ever been to. He dismissed all my symptoms and told me to loose weight and get off the medicine I take and I'll feel better (however, I started feeling this way and that is why I take the medicines). I left there balling my eyes out.
