Dr. John Bruce Dorsey, MD

Arrived on time. Had 30 minute wait, not too bad. Staff is organized and efficient. Dr and staff are kind and caring. Dr. performed a thorough exam.

Over book so the wait time is awful. The office pushes you through like cattle and the doctors read your last visit and just repeat that. The only one in that office that helped mt was Dr Barkow

Dr. Is ok but unable to follow through, the problem is his staff who is running his office as if they are the Dr’s loosing paper work not referring patient as told by Dr. no organization no room for amount of patients scheduled in waiting room people waiting in the hall no airflow air-conditioning not working in Santa Ana office at times. Dr try’s hard and his back up Dr but is staff are out of control rude and inconsiderate of the patients or Dr.

The staff is great much better then the other Dr. offices that I've been to.

eel in my fifty five years of experience with all kinds of doctors and John Dorsey is not only my favorite doctors he is also one of my good friends. He is a very caring Cristian man that only wants to help people. I had to move and I miss him and his staff greatly.

I had a very upsetting experience with your "Administrator" today. I believe her name is Mary Lina. My husband had to have a prescription resubmitted to CVS Pharmacy; due to a mishap I had when dropping it off thru the drive up window. The pharmacist was kind enough to call your office twice for the prescription, on the second attempt the pharmacy contacted me directly and I was informed that your office informed CVS Pharmacy there would be no prescription because my husband would have to go in again. When I contacted your office I was directed to hold for a period of 3 to 5 minutes, three consecutive times. When the person returned each time I tried to explain my position she would say I am sorry but we are very busy, I have so many calls and many patient I donâ??t timeâ?¦then on the second attempt to place me on hold I said I realize you are busy but you are not understanding. I only need to have the prescription resubmitted because my husband is in pain and this prescription… will help alleviate his pain. She was rude. Mary Lina answered. Sorry the doctor will not fill this prescription again without the patient coming back in and I am very busy, I have 80 calls and so many patients, and the doctor is also very busy right now (Dr. Marlin). I then replied, you are being very abrupt and rude I will have to call my insurance company and complain because my husband needs this medication. She answered; you do whatever you want to â??andâ?? hung up. I would like an apology and explanation for this treatment. My husband is on heart medication and is having a very difficult time with his right knee, the pain is visible; I am disillusioned by the poor customer service that was conveyed.

This is the doctor that I was referred to. In the end, very disorganized, giving out strong drugs to people like candy - it was appalling. Bedside manner is creepy and I did not feel any confidence in the office or doctor's knowledge. Seems to take the insured and the insurance companies for a ride. I do not recommend at all.

My opinion with this doctor is that he may at one time been a great doctor but not in my opinion. Since he has suffered a stroke he is impossible to understand. He does not jot down notes regarding my statements about my injury, therefore he is improper reporting of details regarding me. His office is inadated with workers comp patients, of which I am. He refers to other doctors notes regarding my injury rather than doing his own tests on me. My opinion is that his practice is targeted towards workers comp and favoring the insurance companY. It is easy to get pain pills, although I never ask for anything strong anyways.I am not satisfied with his care and treatment of me and am planning on filimg a complaint against him, to protect others that are really injured and are falling through the system because of his neglect.

Dr. Dorsey in my opinion and only my opinion; It appears that he has had a stroke and can barely speak legibly. His office is filled with worker comp patience and it is a cattle run. I think that he is working for the insurance money and is tilted in the favor. Just going through the motion of a doctor. I wouldn't recommend the doctor. To repeat this is only an opinion.
