I was one of this doctor's elderly patients, until I just got tired of the improper/wrong diagnosis and prescribed medications that I found out were hurting me instead of helping me. In several cases, the medication should NEVER have been prescribed for me and was changed by my cardiologist to another medicine. I am so glad I finally changed to another physician...I really believe I would have died within the next two months if I had stayed with him; He told me nothing was wrong with me except I was drinking too much caffine (I wasn't, but he didn't believe me and scolded me for doubting him.) I was seen by cardiologist same day...to make a long story short, I was diagnosed with heart and lung disease and underwent nuclear stress test and catherazation.Am on medications now.THINK TWICE, THREE TIMES, MORE IF NEEDED, before seeing this doctor.

Decrease the financial burden of healthcare by focusing on health promotion/disease prevention. Dr. Faulkner says it all in his personal statement. If you have an elderly parent who has a chronic condition, please find him/her another GP. His main goal is to minimize the costs to Medicare. He is not interested in the well being, physically or mentally, to his elderly patients and their families. In my opinion, he would just assume to let them die to cut costs. As far as beside manner,he is flippant, sarcastic, and uncaring. The elderly in this country deserve better. Please do not send them to this physician.

I went to see Dr. Faulkner a few times for debilitating fatigue and extreme pain in my neck and chest when alcohol was consumed. At every visit, he made me feel like I was wasting his time. I finally suggested that these were both symptoms of Hodgkin's Disease. He was visibly offended and told me I was being melodramatic. Without even a simple examination of lymph nodes or blood test, he dismissed me. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's a year later, after the lump had grown to the size of a softball. Luckily, it was still early stages and this completely incompetent doctor didn't kill me.
