Dr. John Andrew Fleishman, MD

I was having some vision issues that Google told me could be urgent and to get to a specialist as soon as possible. I called Dr. Fleishman's office, and they told me that he was completely booked solid for the next 10 days. Despite that, and despite my being a new patient, when I explained my symptoms, they squeezed me in, cautioning me that I would probably have a long wait. I did wait about an hour, although most of that was spent filling out new patient forms--I've spent as long in other doctors' waiting rooms when I actually did have an appointment. Everyone I interacted with was thorough, efficient, kind, and polite. Highly recommend if you need a good eye doc.

He is a really good doctor but I need someone more compassionate and understanding. Instead of sympathizing with me he was completely uncaring and rude about his diagnosis. He expected too much out of me in such a short period of time and was very rude and threatened to release me as a patient. I felt very hurt by his attitude! Of course I did not follow through with what I knew he was telling me was right because I was discouraged by his attitude. If he wants his patients to follow through with his plans then he needs to show more compassion and understanding.

I can see today because of Dr. Fleishman. he is exceptionally dedicated and on top of recent advancements.

Dr. Fleishman needs to do a better job of showing compassion and communicating with his patients. He is cold and to the point.
