My experience with Dr. Galat and his surgical Team. The day before my by-pass surgery, Dr.Galat brought his surgery team to my room.They each introduced themselves and stated their duties during the up coming procedure. That same day he visited my room and explained the procedure to my wife and I and before leaving led us in prayer for success in the morning surgery.The following day half way through my surgery, a nurse called my wife and said I was doing fine and the next call she would get would be from Dr. Galat. At the completion of my surgery Dr.Galat called my wife and assured her I was doing fine. While in the Hospital I received excellent care from the HICU nurses.They were a blessing. In the fourth week of my recovery we saw Dr. Galat for a final exam. At the completion of the exam he led us in a prayer of thanksgiving. Dr. Galat maintains a very high medical standard and his team also maintains this standard. Dr.Galat possesses many fine qualities but, his compassion over… shadows them all. Dr. Galat is an amazing surgeon! He performed Open Heart Surgery on my 83 year old dad. My dad had a torn mitral valve and a leak in a second valve. Dr. Galat assured us he wouldn't offer surgery unless he was confident it would be successful. Dr. Galat squeezed us in for an appointment (because they were booked) during their lunch hour and fully explained the procedure and the possible risks. We walked out of his office feeling confident that we chose the correct doctor. Dr. Galat is compassionate, caring, and excellent at what he does! His nurse, Dawn was very helpful answering all of our questions every time we called. Dr. Galat saved my dad's life and I will be forever grateful!

During the autumn years of my life, my cardiovascular health took a nosedive; I was in a very bad way physically. Dr. John Galat presented a concise surgical solution, and his calming and compassionate demeanor throughout my cardiac journey remained a constant. Indeed, he was my "knight in surgical scrubs", meticulously attending to every detail. Another feature I appreciated about Dr.Galat concerned his entourage of assistants. He highlights their abilities at every chance he gets. Pretty amazing that he turns the spotlight on others, not himself. Each month as I grow physically stronger, I remain deeply appreciative of my many blessings from Galat's office and staff.

Excellent Dr I tell my God bless to him every day. I have beautifull memorias when I had my open surgery 5 years ago he is the best .God continued blessing to him.????

Brilliant surgeon and amazing person. He is highly skilled, has excellent bedside manners, treats his patients with respect and deep understanding. His team is highly professional. I trust him completely.

Dr. Galat performed a five-artery emergency cardiac bypass on me exactly 20 years ago. I was back at home recuperating 2-1/2 days later and, except for occasional adjustments of my medications, I am still going full-speed at age 82. Thank you, Dr. Galat!
