The only recommendation I can offer Dr. John's office is that they may want to do conformation calls the day before an appointment.

If dingy, dirty-looking furnishings, circa-1960s medical equipment, and a decidedly attitude-dripping front desk male "nurse" are your thing, you will definitely find yourself at home. Don't expect to be impressed in a positive way by the service you receive when being greeted by the portly middle-aged receptionist with the oily hair - he is definitely not expected to make you feel welcome as part of his job description. Hopefully you WILL arrive before the arbitrary time he has chosen to close the cash register, too, lest you might receive his heaping helpings of sarcasm and condescension. Rarely have I ever been treated as poorly as I was at this office. I did manage to find out how this office stays in business, however: this office stays solvent by systematically providing patients with a diagnosis which requires monthly (at a minimum) treatments of some sort. From ocular therapy, to the cornucopaiea of health supplements being hocked, from the patients required to see Herr… Doctor bi-weekly for pain meds, to the monthly visits required for the buprenorphine patients - every treatment comes with the byline of "do XYZ and come back to see me in 3 days, or 1 week, or whatever...everyone is prescribed an appointment schedule more akin to timeshare than it is to medicine.
