Dr. John Eric Gee, MD

Dr. Gee is an excellent surgeon. He is quiet, and seems a bit introverted, but he is very pleasant, and again, AN EXCELLENT SURGEON. He operated on my mother, who is 87, and she's doing great. You frequently don't get to see him for follow-ups and such, because he's in demand and only one person. But if he does your surgery, you will very likely be glad he did.

After being submitted to several surgeries Dr. Gee recommended over and over again that I get a spinal cord stimulator, needles to say he caused more harm than good. Had to go to another Dr that discovered that the leads were misplaced. Do you know that he gets paid to put it in and to take it out at the same time. This is why he convinces you to put it in but when something goes wrong & it NEEDS to be taken out he tells you it's not necessary just to turn it OFF (that's cause he has already been paid) He also has members of his staff or friends and family to write good reviews to bring his ratings up.

The support staff is a -10! Very unprofessional and rude!! Wouldn't recommend this office to my worst enemy! Beware!!

I have had the misfortune of back issues. As a result, I have had the pleasure of meeting Dr Gee. He is very gentle and kind. He is well trained and thorough . His spine clinic staff are very accommodating and sincere . The true test was after initial surgery. After complications, no fault of doctor, Gee's true character shined through. He was so attentive to my issues and he and his staff bent over backwards to free me of back pain. It's great to know Valdosta has such a top notch, home grown physician serving our community .
