Dr. Eric Christian Stiefel, MD

Dr. Stiefel, is by far, one of the finest surgeons, as well as a truly amazing person, I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He loves what he does and it shows! Dr. Stiefel, went way over and beyond to save my leg, whereas 9 other surgeons failed. And why you ask? Because he listened to me. He also knows what is best for his patients, because again, he listens to what they have to say. He is not arrogant and he certainly does not have that “God Attitude” that surgeons/physicians can ultimately end up attaining. I’ve worked in the medical field for 30+ yrs., and would have been honored to work with a physician, very much like, Dr. Stiefel. I have been told by another doctor that surgery was needed to fix my meniscus tear. But Dr Stiefel took the time to explain to me risks associated with menicus surgery in my age group. He recommended other treatments and my knee pain actually got better. I really respected his insight. He had great bedside manner and really took time to figure out what would be best for me. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stiefel was recommended to me by another doctor. His explanation of my shoulder injury was very detailed, but easy to understand. He also spent a significant amount of time with me during my appointment. As it turns out my injury did not require surgery, and I have been able to return to my weekend softball games after a few weeks of physical therapy and an shoulder injection... just now with better throwing mechanics.
