Dr. John M George, MD

Dr. George is an outstanding physician—knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to patient care. However, my experiences with Meredith, the front office staff member, have been consistently frustrating and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, when calling or submitting required documents, she has been unpleasant and difficult to work with. I initially dismissed her behavior as perhaps just a bad day, but it has persisted over time. This morning, for instance, I called at 8:01 AM, and she answered without speaking into the receiver properly. After I politely asked her to repeat herself twice because I couldn’t hear her, she responded with clear anger and disdain, as if answering the phone was an unbearable imposition. When I provided my name, her tone was so disrespectful that it led to a tense exchange. She then accused me of disrespecting her, insisted I call back later, and abruptly hung up. This isn’t an isolated incident. Previously, when I visited the office seeking… help to contact the scheduling department for my referring cardiologist (after leaving several unanswered messages), she yelled at me to drive to the cardiologist’s office instead. From my very first interaction, Meredith has been the only staff member in this office who exhibits such rudeness, and unfortunately, she’s often the primary point of contact upon arrival. In my six years as a patient within the Methodist Network, I’ve never encountered such sophomoric and unprofessional behavior. It’s disappointing, as it detracts from the otherwise excellent care provided by Dr. George and the team. I hope the office addresses this to improve the patient experience for everyone.

Dr. George and his team are very thorough in his testing and responsive to questions. Short wait times and very frank about his choice of tests, why and communicating tests results quickly. David his NP is very present at tests and Meredith is quick to respond to My Chart inquiries. Awesome DR and team.

I cam into his office in the morning his nurse Jenna so that I was pail , sweating and slurring my words. They immediately checked my heart. He saw that I was having a heart attack. They treated me for my heart attack in the morning an when I had another one in the same day He was there as well. It's now been a year and I am back to my old self without bad habits. He and his staff are the Best. Could not recommend someone more Highly.

Went to Dr George couple of years ago to do a baseline stress test. Everything came back good. Two years later had AFIB. It was due to using cold medicine with recent high blood pressure medications. Dr George had went into private practice and the experience was very good. Questions answered and took time to explain the future outlook. Thought he was good and unrushed. Straight talk is appreciated.

Dont know how he chose this profession as he is arrogant sn DC unkind. Never again.

I saw Dr. George yesterday when he did a Catheterization on me. He's a very thorough and kind man. He didn't want to rush into my care without knowing my history. I found that very awesome. More to come.

This person has the worst bedside manner ever....would never recommend to anyone. You can't drive your ferarri's and porsches without patients dr. george!

Dr Geo needs to know his patients pay him. He needs to schedule his time better. Get off your HIGH horse. With out patients, your washing dishes at McDonalds. Bed side manners he has NONE.
