Dr. John Phillip Godfrey, PhD

I was too intimidated to see a therapist for many many years. When I couldn't postpone it, I was referred to Dr. Godfrey. He's easy to talk to and really takes the time to get things right.

Dr. Godfrey has only been amazing with our family. His demeanor is perfect for our family and its many "complexities".

He was 15 minutes late, and thensuggested it was I who was remiss in noticing the tiny print suggesting that I use a remote device to announce my arrival. He said often first timers miss that. Which begged the question, why didn't he meet me on the hour and show me remote doorbell. In addition, he overcharge me on the co-pay. And when I questioned him, he assured me he was correct. I called the insurance after....and he was not correct. He overcharged me. And I received no receipt for cash paid. He does not take plastic. I did not feel this person had much interest in helping me. And, after the first two events, I'm not sure I trusted him... Just my two cents.
