I recall a time when a local hospital emergency staff sent me home late one night with pain medication telling me that they did not know the cause of my severe abdominal pain despite informing them that I may have swallowed a chicken bone. I was immediately seen by Dr. Goodson the next day and he had me in surgery pronto ! He listened to me and made a prompt and bullseye diagnosis. I had swallowed a whole toothpick and it was imbedded into my stomach lining. He saved my life. He is a rare event in one's lifetime and I am honored to call him my doctor.
