Dr. John Willard Grace, MD

He is one of the very best doctors of any kind, who I was seeing for many years, before we moved to Georgia. I wish that he had a clone who lived in Atlanta, Georgia!!

i was a patient for a few years, and can honestly say im glad i quit attending the practice. i was overmedicated and every time i tried to say i felt so, with my husband as witness during appointments, i was told another medication just needed to be added or upped to balance my issues that were directed related to being overmedicated already. when the pandemic hit, i was being called dozens of times a week with questions from my nurse about the online system they were trying to use, which wasnt working well and needed an IT specialist, not a patient, to fix. now, i know the nurse i was seeing has been partying during a pandemic and posting photos doing so online talking about how their family refuses to social distance. overall, not a positive experience and i wish i would have listened to my body and internal thoughts sooner. edited to add: they also tried to tell me i needed very expensive appointments every month during a pandemic, when they quit accepting insurances, just so i… could get my medications refilled. i truly believe their focus has shifted from patients first to money first, i cant see any other reason they would require $60+ dollar appointments monthly online during a pandemic that has negatively monetarily affected millions, and to then say scripts wont be filled. i can understand every other month or tri-monthly, but monthly is a clear money grab.

Dr Grace is the best ever. Been with him 15 yrs and Jayce Lundry is wonderful. Greatest respect for both of them!

If you are a new patient GIVE UP before trying. Their process to become a patient is impossible to navigate and they are very inflexible. They are not helpful at all and I finally had to find another doctor.

My husband came in for an appointment to seek help and to reestablish mental health treatment for his disease and was kicked out of the office for trying to get medications that have help him in the past. No sympathy or compassion!!!! Mental illness is just like another disease and so be treated with medication. Do not seek help from Grace because you will not get it. Thanks for nothing!!!!

Lack of compassion. I was a former patient. Given my diagnosis and situation I needed to be seen asap but because they claimed I owed money to charges they should have waved over thier stupid pentilties they refused to see me until I paid. Lack of compassion in a desperate situation. Seems to be more about money than peoples lives.

Dr. Grace and his team are extremely compassionate and understanding, a true must in this medical field. I have personally seen his healing work and compassion in action. Healing in this field takes time to see what works for each individual and the understanding and continued support from Dr. Grace and his wonderful team are top quality.

The fact that he decided to drop my insurance at the end of the year (and staff notifying me via telephone) was very disconcerting. I had little to no time to find another physician who took my insurance, putting me in a real bind. As a Bipolar Type 1 patient, regular maintenance visits are imperative to my well being.
