Dr. John Christophe Greenawalt, MD

Dd. Greenawalt has taken care of me during several admissions at GBMC. The high level of his care is unmatched by any other physician! He is kind, caring and compassionate. His expertise in medicine is superior. He was able to get the tests that I needed done quickly and properly. He was able to make a proper diagnosis very quickly and instituted an effective treatment plan allowing my duscharge from the hospital much more quickly than I would have thought. With his caring bedside manner, he made sure that I was aware of what was going on every step of the way. And, he was very kind in keeping my family informed of my condition, treatment and progress. I wish there was even one mor doctor as good as Dr. Greenawalt. I would highly recommend him.

I had the experience of meeting this doctor for about 2 minutes when he was asked to write up my discharge paperwork from my recent hospital stay. He came into my room asked me how I felt...I got maybe 3 words out before I was cut off and he was out the door. He was cold, rude, mean, insensitive, impatient and refused to even let me ask questions about the double mastectomy that left me with a breast infection. He discharged me without even evaluating me at GBMC after a week there. I was sent home...hours later I was admitted to Sanai and he had discharged me with 3 active infections but didn't take a moment to even learn of my symptoms. This is one arrogant person and I pity any future patients of his.
