Dr. John J Grosso, MD

Do not bring your kids here for A tongue tie. The first time there my son went with his mother. The doctor said he would sit still enough that she would have to come back with someone to help hold him another day. We went back There only to have him say his tongue tie is not bad and will not stop him from talking. We went to another doctor and the other doctor said he has A significant tongue tie and he said he should get the surgery. We did it recently and in 3 days out son started saying things to us. This doctor is old and don't care at all. He just wants to make money looking at your ears, nose and throat and send you off. I would not go here. I don't leave reviews much, but I don't want to see any kids go through life not talking.

HORRIBLE front desk. Just an all around sketchy business. Steer clear.

Dr Grosso performed surgery on my son and was wonderful to work with. He is a knowledgeable and caring Doctor. Unfortunately,I cannot say the same for his staff at the office. The woman at the front desk is extremely impolite and ill mannered. She even went as far as to close the glass in my face while interacting with me. Just be prepared to deal with a rude an ignorant individual upon entering the office; however, I would say that it is worth it to work with Dr. Grosso.

I have been seeing Dr. Grosso for years along with our children . I make it a point to fly in to his office when I have an issue. Dr. Grosso is factual and to the point. I trust him 100% on his diagnosis and treatment.

Very un- professional , I felt like he was rushing me out of there and told me everything was fine . Ended up going to another doctor and told me I needed surgery . Would not recommend him to anyone .

Terrible office.Receptionist was sarcastic and asked me if I was a doctor when I questioned CAT scan results.Doctor was just as bad.When he could’nt find my problem dismissed me and suggest I see another doctor with the impression I might have cancer.I won’t be returning to them again.

Doctor is very good....too long wait...way overvbooked

I have been using Dr. Grosso many years. He is very smart, knows my issues and I trust him. However, the staff can be rude. I find it is a hit or miss with their attitudes, some are great, others need to find a new job. If I ever left the practice it won't be because of Dr. Grosso, it will be because I can't deal with the staff. The MD's need to remind them who provides their paycheck.

Went to Dr. Grasso EMT office in Plainview . My appointment was 1:50 pm waited over 45 minutes . The women at the front desk are rude . Her name was Jeannie has blonde hair and Rose????? Does not belong dealing with patients ....RUDE and not professional. While I was seating in the waiting room . The women by front desk were complaing out loud . Gossiping about patients . I hope that the Drs. Read the review and realize they need to fire the employees up front .

My son had been going to Dr. Grosso for 17 years. He was the only doctor who helped him. His staff on the other hand is rude and they are losing patients because of it. Now they won't accept my son's insurance because he has OBAMACARE. They are mean about it also. We had other problems with them in the past. They don't get back to you and the staff is not helpful in any way. Its a shame such a good doctor has such a horrible staff.
