Avoid this doctor at all costs. I got away from this man and found a new urologist who's more knowledgeable and not dismissive. His bedside manner went out the window in my last visit with him where he was aggressive and angry when I asked for my records despite me spending several nights in a hospital after his procedures. Look him up and you'll see numerous articles of money scams, refusing to help people during the height of covid and bankruptcy.

What a horrible experience with this unprofessional urologist! I first met Dr. Hijjar on Friday suffering with pain from a kidney stone. He seemed wonderful. Thorough & seemed very nice. He kept assuring me that the laser procedure to break up my kidney stone was covered under my insurance-I was so happy. It wasn't until AFTER my procedure 3 days later that I saw his true colors. I was in a lot of pain & upon my discharge I saw Dr. Hijjar - he was so mean, cold & nasty I was in complete shock! I asked him for painkillers for the pain & he said, "I'm not giving you anything except motrin. I looked you up & you're an abuser. " I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I said "Excuse me?" He said "You are an addict & you abuse pain medication. I'm not giving you ANYTHING!" I flipped out & told him to look up WHY those pain meds were prescribed: Sciatica & Gastric Bypass. Worst "physician" ever! If you need pain meds & don't want to be insulted - go to another Urologist!

Dr Hajjar is a BAD doctor, therefore he became CEO of Sovereign medical group!! He THEN continued to STEAL $$ for the doctors he said he'd help! He deserves to be in JAIL!!!

I had the VLAT procedure done after 12 years ( age 11-23) of debilitating pain that would come and go for no reason. I was misdiagnosed - yeast infection? Bladder infection? Without there being year or bacteria apparent. I was so young and embarrassed - tell people you feel like you have to pee urgently but cant, as a teen is mortifying! I'm 40 yo now and STILL talk about how this man saved my life. I'm so glad I persisted to find someone who could firstly acknowledge, and treatment to my debilitating pain. Dr.Hajjar- my hero!!!

If you go to this doctor or any of his surgi care surgical centers please be aware he is conceited and cocky and always question what you are being told and get copies of records every time you go there.
