Dr. John R Haney, PhD

Dr. Haney is the most incredibly rude, dismissive, uncaring, and disrespectful doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting in my entire life. Not only did his office staff tell me the wrong time for my appointment, and then blame me for it being wrong. Then he let me know he had lunch plans and couldn’t do anything to help me. Not an I’m sorry, no apology whatsoever. This is an appointment I’ve already spend 3 months waiting for, and had to take off work to come for (and drive 45 minutes I might add) for nothing. Not even a new appointment for soon. He said “we can put you on will call” yeah well I was on that for three months so obviously that does no good either. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time making an appointment with Dr. Haney because he can’t always keep them! He also called me a bully, called me names, and said “i’m sure you’re going to leave a terrible review” then walked out the door and slammed it shut and locked behind him without another word. Dr. Haney… shouldn’t be in practice with mental health patients if he doesn’t know how to treat somebody with basic respect. I hope he’s happy he took half a days work of money from me so he could enjoy his lunch plans instead. I wasn’t going to leave a review until his smart remark, so you played yourself Dr. Haney because I fully plan to report you for misconduct in any way I can figure out how. If I could give ZERO stars I would. A big fat -5 minus stars for Dr. Haney for being a human trash bag.

I am writing this review to detail my experience with the office manager for Dr. Haney, Susan Rittenberry. I have called on multiple occasions for information on a mysterious balance that popped up 2 months after my visit. Mrs. Rittenberry was less than professional on each occasion, and was even rude during our last exchange. This is the same woman who confused me with another patient, and had I not spoken up, I would have received incorrect treatment due to her lack of attentiveness. Dr. John Haney was very polite, and very helpful. I was referred by my family doctor, but no amount of helpfulness will encourage me to revisit his practice, due to Susan Rittenberry.

Dr John R Haney is a very good Psychologist. He sits and listens to all my problems I've had throughout the week. He has been helping me now for a while and gives me suggestions to try , or books to read to help me get past my problems. He's doing an excellent job and each week I look forward for my appointment to see him and talk my troubles out with him. There are days I wish I could talk to him more that one hour, that's how much I like Dr Haney. He helps me get though to the rest of the week until I go see him again. Thank you again Dr Haney for being my Psychologist.

This doctor needs to retire right away. He is boring and disinterested. I feel more suicidal now after seeing him than before. Save a life doc.

Only basic mandatory questions asked. He didn't care about my responses. Despite me trying to be kind and respectful, I didn't get any back. Very disappointed.
