Dr. Herbster is a native of the Jersey Shore, being raised in Point Pleasant where his father worked for Jenkinson’s Beach. After spending his youth at various jobs on the beach and boardwalk, he worked in the construction trades, paying his way through college and dental school. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1976, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1982. Upon completion of his studies, he began private practice in the shore area. Dr. Herbster is an avid believer in continuing education and has completed many certification courses in all aspects of dentistry, with special focus in the fields of Implantology and Prosthetics.
