After 3 straight weeks of taking ridiculously expensive Uber’s, over 2 hours each way, Dr Hong kept prescribing medication that wasn’t covered by my insurance. He did nothing to correct or accommodate the situation, instead leaving me in a lurch for 3 straight weeks with no medication at all and no apologies or attempts to help me, just told me I needed to wait another week until his next office opening, only to leave me in a lurch repeatedly. Kept discouraging me from seeing my neurosurgeon, telling me that I ‘most likely would never be fixed’ but he could no longer be hassled by my insurance not covering his recommended prescriptions. Told me if I ever ‘got better insurance coverage’ he would resume caring for me, but in the meantime, completely left me high and dry with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO MANAGE MY PAIN OF 15 years! Completely cold, and negligent-stay away??

I'm hoping Dr. Hong doesn't care for his patients the way he runs his office. Many phone calls trying to get some information on what he does before making an appt. for my 90 year old dad. NO ONE with any knowledge/information will call me back or even explain to me his procedures!!! Too bad............won't be recommending him or seeing him!

Absolutely no hip/back pain after 2 treatments a month apart.

For 10 weeks I had intense pain in my mid back area with a tingling sensation that would go from my back to around the front region on my left side. After an MRI I was told that I had two herniated discs in my mid back region. Dr. Hong gave me one epidural and after a few days my pain was completely gone. I believe II could have gone to several different pain management physicians, but would not have had the positive results I experienced. He definitely is a physician who deserves recognition for his expertise.

Ended up seeing him instead of my normal doc, worst experience ever. Won't be going back to this practice again.

The Hong has been helping me manage and improve my back pain for almost two years. He has been very caring and knowledgeable on what needs to be done to fix my disc problems.I cannot recommend this doctor enough!!!

Would not recommend very cold an unfeeling and does not listen also prescribes unnecessary meds and offers no help coming off them
