Dr. John Michael Hood, MD

The absolute worst experience i have ever had with any doctor. I dealt with dr. hood on 2 seperate occasions , the last one i lost part of my finger and dr.hood gave me nothing for the pain.i am not a drinker and i was drinking wine at night so i could sleep. He was extremely arrogant every time i talked to him and im far from the only one that had these experiences. He did multiple surgeries on me in 2006 and my finger is a mess. I highly recommend taking your chances with anyone else

I fractured my right wrist at home in a fall. I met with Dr. Hood who reviewed my xrays and informed me that I needed surgery (plate and screws). He performed the surgery and I was discharged 3 months later. I'm very pleased with my treatment and his care of me. He was courteous, answered all of my questions, took his time with me and was very caring. I would highly recommend him.

I have had 2 surgical procedures done by Dr Hood and both had great results. He also saved my niece's finger that was almost cut off. shen she was a toddler. Today,as a young adult, she has full use of her finger. He has been very pleasant and helpful each time I have seen him.

Ive been here twice and I can't say enough as to how good Dr Hood has been with me. The 2nd time was kind of an emergency and he took the time to see me and fit me in for surgery before he was going to be out of the area for a while. Very pleased
