Dr. John William Hunniford, MD

Just how realistic do you think a doctor can have such a uniformly high rating? He kept the meeting as brief as possible and refused to explain/clarify further. Probably doesn't care as he already had nice ratings.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Hunniford at Thorek Memorial Hospital with hopes of establishing him as my Primary Care Physician, as I recently relocated to the Chicago area. Never in the 48 years of my life have I ever been spoken to as disrespectfully as how Dr Hunniford addressed me or my healthcare concerns. His lackadaisical examination technique didn't even include the basics of my vital signs being taken, much less referenced; while his pompous demeanor resulted in another physician having to make up for his lack of professionalism by taking over the examination. I am not a difficult person or patient; however, my own professional background has me very well versed in proper healthcare standards and etiquette required by state medical board law. Therefore, I felt the need to submit a written complaint about my experiences with him to the hospital management and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. If Dr Hunniford cares for all his patients… in the same manner in which he conducted himself with me, he has no business practicing medicine! Worst medical experience of my life!!!
