Dr. John Richard Hurt, MD

Dr Hurt has helped my family and myself for 11 years. He was and is critical inmy recovering from a 39% heart ejection fraction and diagnosis of worsening CHC with roughly 4yrs to live. His medical service and advise were and are absolutely cherished by our family. Ed Henthorn

I believe Dr. Hurt has the best intentions for his patients, but I always feel rushed during my visits. He's always cordial, and always asks if I have any questions, but I always get the feeling he's in a hurry and looking toward what he has to do after he gets my visit out of the way. When I do ask questions, he sometimes doesn't know the answer. That's troubling. I sometimes wonder if he has time to study and keep up with his profession. It's too bad because he seems to be a caring doctor who listens to patient concerns.

Went to an appointment to get my test results and he was unable to view them or go over them.mif he has time that night and remembers he will review them and let me know. If not he will review them with the surgeons in a couple of weeks. Very glad that I am short of breathe and very tired but it will wait a few weeks, maybe depending on those results. Wish me luck for the next few weeks

This was our first visit with Dr. Hurt, and found his staff very friendly and professional. Dr. Hurt listened to all our questions and concerns and gave us informed answers. He was very patient and didn't rush us. We would definitely recommend Dr, Hurt to others.
