Dr. David Edward Lammermeier

I was impressed by Dr Lammermeier's office staff, the doctor himself. My first office visit I found the doctor to be very informative, stayed and answered a million of my questions. He is a pleasant man. I was really impressed when he prayed with us prior to going to the operating room.

I never saw him after cancer surgery....only his PA who literally yanked out chest tubes and left the room. Major incision for miniscule mass.

I had a portion of my lung removed due to a Pet Scan showing active cancer. I am now home from the hospital and still have no idea if the cancer spread, what type of cancer it is. I was told upon my initial appt a section of my lung would be sent for a frozen section. To see if I needed to have more of my lung removed. As far as talking to him during my time in the hospital. I guess I got less than a minute a day. No answers if I would need additional treatment. Also I have chronic severe back pain and was given less medication in the hospital than at home. If you want to communicate with your doctor don't see this man. He makes you feel worthless.

Had excellent experience. Do not where some of the other reviews came from. He actualy came in from his vacation to meet with me because of the urgency of my situation( infected pacemaker and heart). Took time to explain and answer questions. Friendly. He conducted the two week post op meeting not a PA as many do and actually removed the staples himself, never had that done before. Was well pleased with every aspect of my experience.

First off, I understand surgery does not always go as planned. Don't get on your deathbed on a weekend because it WILL be Monday before HIS workweek starts. It APPEARS he has too many clients and runs a production line and overbooks surgeries and appears rushed. Would HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere.

Dr. David Lammermeier is incompetent and will tella patient anything in order to do his surgery. Even when he is sure ther are better options. I succomed to his lies and was mutilated by him.
