Dr. John Newell Huyette, MD

I have had Dr. Huyette as my physician for close to 25 years. I find him to be courteous, thoughtful and always ready and willing to listen.

Dr. Huyette is very rude, intimidating and projects a forceful threatening manner. Clearing past his prime of treating the elderly. Staff is equally unprofessional, angry and dismissive. Writing to Medical Board. Totally disgusted.

Dr. Huyette is kind and thorough. He listens well and is highly knowledgeable. My brother had gerd and Dr. sent him for a heart test. It saved his life. My brother was immediately hospitalized and had heart surgery!

I saw him today as a new patient. He is extremely kind, very bright knows medicine well was able to explain my condition put me at ease. I immediately felt netter. I wouls highly reccomend him without reservation for people with any medical condition complex and simple. I fell blessed tohave him as my Doctor

Those that left comments about the staff of Dr. Huyette is 1000% WRONG!!! He has the most caring staff in Delco. They go above and beyond what any other doctors office would do for their patients. There are only three women that work in his office (not like what the other person said that he had more staff than a hospital!!) And the bust their stones to get you in as fast as they can and are considerate of your time. They call specialists to try and get you in to see one as quickly as possible, which most of the time is with in the same day. They field phone calls for the doctor so he has more time to spend with his patients. They relay the message to the doctor and he tells them what to tell the patient. I have NEVER been mistreated by his staff. They are angels walking among us. They welcome you with a smile and send you off with one.So to those that are bashing his staff obviously do not know them and how far they go for their patients.

It is sad to think that a doctor so wonderful and with such fabulous bedside manner has such an intolerable staff. I have found them in every interaction to be nothing short of impossible, dismissive, condescending and rude. If the review allowed I would give the staff no stars. At first I thought the staff member was having a bad day...but it happened on several occasions with different staff. Unfortunately even Dr Huyette in his wonder care does not make up for his staff so I will be finding a new doctor.

Dr. Huyette's office staff is horrible and unprofessional! They have no compassion for patients or understanding as to how the healthcare system is supposed to work. There are more women working in that office than in a major hospital, but they always act as if they are so busy! None of them are qualified to work in a doctor's office let alone deal with sick patients! Sadly; he listens to them, which makes him a moron in my eyes. He should trust his patients who have to deal with this people. I would find another doctor with a more professional staff as they are the front line that you have to deal with. Also, they will not let you speak to the doctor at all, nor do they probably tell him that you called.

Needs to retire and lady on office...wife? She need a straight up enema to get whatever is lodged so far up her.....well you know! Too old knows nothing about new procedures or medications. Really , so play golf or something, already. Get a doctor who keeps up on current medical information!

Dr. Huyette is the type of doctor I haven't seen since I was a kid. He's like the doctors back-in-the-day who sat and talked with you about your problems. He carefully considers everything you say and deals with you on a personal level. He doesn't drag you into the room and throw you out as fast as he can. All-in-all, he is a shining example of what a physician should be.
