Dr. John Uno Ingard, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Ingard's for 14 years. I find him to be knowledgeable, unusually open-minded and willing to listen. I once had an unusual potentially fatal reaction to an antibiotic that another doctor dismissed in it's early stages. Dr Ingard took the time to find out what was really going on. He treats the whole person and at one point even referred me to a naturopath when standard treatments for migraines were not helping to reduce their incidence (now that's an unusual doctor!)On the down side, I do at times feel that he is overloaded and sometimes follow-up falls through the cracks. I am glad that he is no longer taking new patients and can concentrate his excellent skills on those he has.

Ingard rushed visit, didn't listen to patient, made erroneous notes that led to miss-diagnosis by PA, and unnecessary hospitalization. Also, his lack of oversight of medications by specialists and his unwillingness to treat high BP lead to potentially fatal aneurysm.
