Dr. John Paul Jarczyk, MD

John Paul Jarczyk, MD, is a passionate pediatrician dedicated to providing high-quality care that helps his patients thrive. “I take a person-centered approach,” he says. “It’s crucial to ask questions and listen carefully so that I can identify the concerns bringing a patient/family into clinic and then develop of plan to manage those concerns moving forward. I don't want a child's respiratory issues to hold them back from growing and developing.”

Combining his background in education with his medical expertise, Dr. Jarczyk creates a supportive and comfortable environment for his patients while offering advanced specialty care for their breathing and pulmonary needs. “I became interested in pediatric pulmonology to provide more specialized care to support children and their families,” he says. “By understanding and effectively managing their pulmonary conditions, I can better take care of my patients and help them breathe their best.”

Originally from the Phoenix area, Dr. Jarczyk …earned dual degrees in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame. He spent six years as a teacher before pursuing medicine as a Wildcat at the University of Arizona, where he completed medical school, residency and fellowship training in pediatric pulmonology.

Outside of work, Dr. Jarczyk enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and kids and watching Arizona basketball, all while enjoying the beauty of Tucson’s desert and its unique southwest flavors.
