Dr. John Rhyan Kaiser, MD

Would only see OB once during third trimester.

I was referred to Dr. Kaiser after becoming extremely anemic after a 16 day cycle and needing two blood transfusions. I knew nothing about the office or employees. The nurses and Dr. Kaiser were very professional, personal and southing since I was getting tests done I've never had before. I will not get the results of my tests til next week, but I am positive this practice will treat me with same kindness, professionalism and knowledge that they did on my first visit. They were a bit late on getting me in the office but once I was processed, the entire visit was very swift and yet not rushed. I recommend Dr. Kaiser and I really liked Judy, who did most of the visit.

I called my regular OB doctor's office and could not get in because she was booked up so they scheduled a last minute appointment with Dr Kaiser which was great because I needed to have it looked at right away. On the day of my appointment Dr Kaiser looked at my boil and said that he can drain it but first would have to numb me. He did a very good job of taking care of me and helping me with the boil that I have. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family members. I am seriously wanting to switch him to be my OB doctor.

I came to him for unexplained pelvic pain. It had been several years since my last pap. I also wanted to get on birth control. He quickly wrote me a prescription for Sprintec and sent me on my way . I returned for a Pap smear a month later.I waited a long time, before finally being called and escorted to a clinic room. I waited an hour before I was seen. He was very rushed. Performed a blind pap ( did not use a speculum, light, or microscope slides.Did not even sit down!Said that it would take a while for results and left. It’s been a couple of weeks, and I still have not heard back. I was referred from Primary health, and I can’t help but wonder if I received worse care because he thought I didn’t have insurance. I have Blue Cross insurance, but it shouldn't matter.

Dr. Kaiser is very professional and efficient. I am always comfortable, and I feel listened to and respected.

Had my first vbac experience with this doctor. Rushed my appointments and then my labor, told me he had a golfing appointment that day and ended up pulling on my placenta and slightly prolapsing my uterus.Let me tear in 3 places instead of doing an episiotomy when I had a full epidural going. Nursing staff left me unattended when I couldn't walk on the toilet, I ended up passing out and falling to the floor. Went to discuss anything else with doctor, he denied me as his patient and suggested I take psych meds when I tried to explain how I felt about his care. Absolutely would not recommend.

Went in to discuss birth control options (had never been on any bc before) and he asked probably 15 questions about my family history and suggested that most bc's would not be a good option due to the fact that there are so many blood clot related issues in my family (had a genetic test done on his advice and I have a genetic blood clotting disorder that I inherited, what do ya know!) I originally wanted to do bc pills. He didn't just write me a blind prescription like other doctors would have done, he took the time to figure out if it would be safe for me to do so. When I decided on the IUD, he was the one to insert it (different appointment) and there was no pain-- and if you google IUD insertion stories there are people who pass out due to the pain. He numbed the cervix beforehand (paracervical block) which helped a LOT. None of my friends who have IUD's had a paracervical block performed. After the insertion an ultrasound was performed to ensure that it was in correctly. He was… very professional and I've had no problems with my IUD. Good, thorough doctor. The nurse I have called about 3 times since my first appointment and she was always willing to answer questions and would always call me back promptly if she missed my call. Great staff.

I hated it he's never taken the time to actually accurately diagnose me and just asks things but doesn't let me finish answering and just says I'm fat so that's why I have all these problems but I find out there's more to it than that he comes in for five seconds 1 minute at the most and the leaved with what he thinks without taking the time to figure it out. I'm definitely switching to another doctor.

Dr. John R Kaiser, is a great MD , My most memorable thing about him and his nursing staff is that they was there when i was going through some things they sat down with me and listen and gave me good advice. I had my two kids with them and they been excellent .

Where to even begin?? They had canceled my appointment after waiting three weeks to get in and never called to tell me. I only found out after I took time and drove down there that it was canceled. Who does this?? When I complained I simply got an "I'm sorry, we can reschedule you" and a blank stare. He tried to leave after glancing down there without doing a breast exam. Had to remind him that he needed to do one. Still waiting a week later to get call on results of pap and had to call today to remind them.. tried to bill my insurance for two visits in the same day. Unacceptable. Would absolutely never recommend to anyone!
