my 96-year-old mom had a visit to Dr. John Kim and was shocked because the staff screamed at me for asking_ why the patient came later was taking by Dr Kim before my old and sick mom?they discriminated and insult me!!Stay away from this office!!

The doctor need to learn how to take care his customer what a stupid place

Wait is long typically after appointment time. Staff not very engaged (hate to say could be because I'm Caucasian). I don't get annual reminder notices. I tried on contacts woman assisting me got impatient with me, and basically dismissed me while I still had contacts on. Being untrained properly nearly scratched my cornea trying to remove one. I won't be going back.

I don't know why dr. kim has such negative review. I was referred to him from a friend of mine who's been his patient for more than 15 years. I initially went to him because I had an infection few year ago. Now, I go to him every year for annual check up. Unlike other doctors, he doesn't push you to do unnecessary things and make you come back to the office just to make money. If you're looking for a good doctor, i would definitely recommend him.

He spent less then 5 minutes with me, did no tests. Just tested to see if my vision had changed. He did not do any of the following: Look at the back of the eye, muscle movement test, slit lamp or glaucoma testing. He had about 10 patients sitting in the waiting room and churns them out like a drive-thru; I can only imagine what he's billing their insurance.

I wish I could give him zero star. I would not recommend him to anyone. I completely understood the reviews here because something similar happened to me. Staff were as mean as the doctor if not more. Seek other doctors in town.

I am extremely mad even for the $30 copay I wasted on this doctor. Did not get anything out of it but frustration and anger.

i suggest that you find a different doctor if you're seeking help and care.

I saw Dr. Kim recently and he has the WORST bedside manner. He did not make eye contact or respond directly to my questions. He did not appear to take my concerns or condition seriously. Frankly, her behavior throughout the visit was bizarre and did not at all demonstrate the presence of mind that one expects from a physician. I couldn't believe one of first things he told me at the visit was "sit down." I will never make an appointment with him again. Interestingly, some of this reviews on this website are so flattering which tells me he must have quite a few good families and friends.. I would give him negative stars if that was an option.

It was a very disappointing and unpleasant visit. I had to make a last minute appointment with this doctor because he was the only ophthalmologist available but it would've been better if I didn't go. I'd never recommend this doctor to anyone.
