Dr. John Kim is board certified by both the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Born and raised in southern California, Dr. Kim graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a recipient of the U.S. Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program he received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Kim served as an army physician for seven years and went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology in New York at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital. He is an active member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Kim is the recipient of multiple awards for excellence in medicine in both military as well as civilian roles, and was recently designated as a “Top …Doc†in South Jersey. He believes very strongly in providing every patient with both comprehensive medical treatment as well as personable and individualized care.
