Dr. John William Kin, MD

Dr. Kin is an excellent doctor. He has a professional and friendly demeanor. He listens to your health concerns and allows time for your questions and for his explanations. Dr. Kin and his staff are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Wait time in the visitor's waiting room is very reasonable!

Dr Kin has been taking care of us for many years. There is not a better primary care doc anywhere.

A good doctor BUT wait times are long. When I had questions, which I rarely do, told me to make another appointment to discuss them and reminded me that he had other patients. I consider that very uncaring, especially since I already waited an hour past scheduled time for THIS appointment!

Does not always hear what is being said because he already has his mind made up. I tried to like him and give him the benefit of the doubt for approx 2 yrs finally I changed doctors.

Not happy with Dr. Kin.. If you go in for one reason and happen to mention something else he says, we are here or the other reason and we are running late so we don't have time to discuss the other problem. Just not happy with the wait time, his time with you is not quality time for a family primary doctor. I will be looking for another primary care doctor. The staff he has is great..

Dr. Kin may be the best doctor in the world, but with me he showed nobedside manner, nor any interpersonal skills. He gave me a routine physical including a prostrate exam (the finger wave). Every doctor that has given me that exam has said something to lighten the mood as they know it is uncomfortable for the patient. Dr. Kin said, "Drop your shorts and bend over." Everyone is different, and some may like his matter of fact manner, but I do not. I just saw my new doctor today, and I couldn't be happier.

I have been going to see Dr. Kin for over 5 years now, and will never even consider switching because he is the only doctor I have ever found who seems to genuinely care for his patients. While most doctors try to speed you through the appointment so that they can bring in more money, Dr. Kin does not let you leave until he is certain he has all the information he needs to assess you, and gives you all the information you need to understand his assessment. There is no feeling of being rushed in his presence, and he makes you feel like he really cares and wants to help you. The ONLY thing about his office is that sometimes you might have to wait a bit to get in, but that is because he spends extra time with patients who need it, which is what makes him the best doctor I've ever had!

After moving to Fredericksburg 4 years ago, I struggled to find a doctor that I liked. I don't like feeling like a number, and that's exactly how every other doctor I went to made me feel. I was so happy to find Dr. Kin! He takes the time to listen, and genuinely seems to care. I always feel like I'm going to be heard when I go see him, and do not worry about being judged or have my concerns dismissed. I HIGHLY recommend this doctor. It is so hard to find any like him anymore.
