Dr. John Gregory Ladas, MD

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Ladas. The office runs like clockwork. Dr. Ladas doesn't spend a lot of time with you but his techs and assistants explain everything and you are free to ask the doctor any questions. We have both had successful cataract surgeries. We are very pleased with the whole practice.

Dr John Ladas is definitely skilled and had excellent and very impressive credentials. He is a cornea specialist and teaches at Hopkins. The downside is this doctor does not have any bedside manner or empathy, and he is in and out before you can say much. He is also away from his office for a week very often and I had to see his associates a few times. The doctors are all very overbooked. Having said all this... my cataract surgeries were successful in the end. I did have some complications which were handled with the right medicine. I had a lot of discomfort and very bad pain due to my complications in healing. Had this doctor reviewed my medical records and read the extensive medical forms I needed to fill out, he might have been able to relieve some of my discomfort from inflammation and avoided the more serious complications I developed as a result. Having said all that I have good vision for which I am very grateful. The office is very run down and dusty, which I would most… definitely not have mentioned if I liked this doctor. Many of his staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I am glad I will not ever need to return to this doctor. I am sure I could have found a skilled ophthalmologist with excellent credentials and who also has bedside manner.

I was early for my appointments and was taken in early every time. Dr. Ladas is outstanding for his ability to communicate, his professionalism and his expertise. All of the staff and well trained, efficient, friendly, and seem happy at their work. I have been in the office for 7 appointments, so far, and always feel that I am in such good hands.. Eyes are so important, and you will be happy you chose Dr. Ladas!

The staff and phone reception is so put out and annoyed to wait on anyone I am not going back. Back karma
