Dr. John Young Lee, MD

Dr Lee is a very competent doctor. His office staff, however, managed by his wife, is incompetent, uncaring, and vindictive. I had a number of expensive tests run over a number of months to diagnose a medical condition I continue to experience. Subsequently, I relocated to a different state, and for the next 8 weeks tried in vain to have my medical records forwarded to another physician. At least 8 attempts were made by myself and the new physician's office - assurances were made, excuses were offered, but no records were ever sent. Now I'm forced to repeat the tests. Grace Family Medicine has nothing to do with Grace and Christian values - don't' be fooled.

I love this doctor. He is so informative and so thorough. I have learned so much from him! And he is wonderful with kids!

Dr. Lee is extremely busy but when he's in front of you he's there for you and your Family. Can't recommend a better Family Practitioner.

I've been seeing Dr. Lee for a while now and he has proven to be a very caring doctor....considering I'm a very stubborn patient. I had fever for 15 days in a row and he was very determined to find out what was wrong. He suggested I stay in a hospital but I did not want to so he accommodated my request and asked that I come in for tests when at the times I had a fever. After feeling horrible for so long and many tests he finally figured out what I had. I will never forget the caring pat on my shoulder telling me "we'll figure it out" and he did! Very gentle and listens to what you have to say as well as reiterates what he understood the symptoms and issues are. He has even had the staff call me at home with results and to see how I am doing. He will definitely be my doctor for life.

Dr. Lee was on-call the night before my Mother passed away. The nurses called him, got him out of bed at midnight, and he came up to the hospital. I live 120 miles away and go to Port Lavaca weekly to see my Dad, and Dr. Lee is now my family doctor. He takes as much time as needed and listens to you. I've never waited more than 5 min. for an appt. with him - the staff is wonderful.

Dr. Lee is an excellent doctor. He treats both my parents. I could not ask for a better or more caring doctor. My eighty year old mother adores him!

I met Dr. Lee in the hospital after I gave birth to my daughter in September. He came in bright and cheery and was excited to see the new baby. Since she was jaundiced, he checked in with us 1,2,and 3 weeks after delivery. At our first appointment, I noticed that he was Chief Resident during his residency (there was a plaque on the wall) as well as his many other accomplishments. This man has six children and you can tell he just loves kids! He is intelligent, kind, and compassionate; and he answers questions thoroughly and with respect. Dr. Lee gives very thorough examinations, and he was very gentle with my sweet newborn. Also, no annoying God-complex here,he is humble and doesn't condescend when he talks. He will definitely my daughter's doc for life, and I hope he cares for my future children as well.
