Dr. John Jairo Lopera, MD

Dr. Lopera might be great but his office operation isn't. Multiple contacts are always necessary in order to get a referral or faxing of test results. Level of participation required by a patient/patient's family is inexcusable. Because it is rare to speak with a human the first time and voice mails are infrequently returned, you should consider going elsewhere. Toilets are too low for elderly & have inadequate hand rails. Strong patient advocate needed.

This man is a bully IN MY OPINION. I don't doubt for a minute that he cares for his patients but shows it the wrong way. He forced medication on me and then scared me if I didn't do what he says. Told me I had an enlarged heart based on an EKG. Went to the cardiologist for an echocardiogram. My heart is normal and of normal size. I left him to go to a very caring doctor who was compassionate.

Dr. Lopera is average. My physical consisted of blood work review , listen to heart and felt my ankles. Total of 5 minutes after waiting 35 minutes. The office staff needs replacing immediately. The referral expert is a nightmare, trust me. Three specialists couldn't get referrals from her because she plead the fifth every time, always admitting she never received there faxes. An attitude was on top of the list. Second was her miss coding everything. Twice upon arriving to a specialist, they had to cancel my appointment because of no referral was sent. First time in office, woman humming disco songs and another eating doughnuts. Gave them the benefit of doubt and waited awhile, now it's time to move on. Not good when most patients who visit are sick.

He is a great dr . He doesn't care about the time . He spends time with us . My husband and me felt very happy to found in this area an excellent Dr.

This MD is so nice, so caring and also smart. My spouse and daughter are both MDs and I only hope that they are as good to their patients as Dr. Lopera is to me.

The staff is sweet and courteous, but sometimes not organized. But, if they've fallen short on something related to your charts, they make a great effort to fix the problem. It would just be better to get things right the first time. Also, there are obviously "cliques" within the office staff, that patients can't help but be aware of. The conflict can make things a little uncomfortable for the patients.

Unfortunately I changed dr Lopera because I changed my insurance since that I don't find any other dr like him. In few worst he is the best. Next year I will change my insurance to go back to his office.

I was very, very impressed with Dr. Lopera. I'm a retired Registered Nurse and 75 years old. In all my years of meeting with physicians, I have never found a doctor who gave me more time to discuss what I thought he should consider regarding my status. I liked his manner - he is friendly and listens carefully to the patient. I will definitely stay with this physician. I believe that he is quite competetent.

God complex- believes he is a specialist in everyting. Not sure what he is board certified in.

Dr. Lopera gives each of his patients the time they need. He is a caring "old time" doctor.
