Re-certified in Adult Psychoanalysis by the American Board of Psychoanalysis. Served on the Executive Board of Directors for The American Psychoanalytic Association for thirteen years. My scope of practice includes general psychiatry with adults suffering from anxiety and depressive disorders. The majority of my patients have suffered some sort of injury (either through a personal accident or a work-related accident) which has caused chronic pain and physical incapacitation from gainful employment and from their usual activities. Most of these …cases involve Major Depressive Disorders, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Pain Disorders and Post-traumatic Stress Disorders. In psychoanalysis I have specialized in the psychoanalytic treatment of Personality Disorders (such as Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorders and Depressive Personality Disorders).I was a long-time member of the following organizations: The New Orleans Psychoanalytic Society, New Orleans Psychoanalytic Institute, Jefferson Parish Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society and The American Psychoanalytic Association.From 2006 to the present, I was consecutively chosen as a member of the Best Doctors in New Orleans, Best Doctors in Louisiana, and Best Doctors in America.
