Dr. John Andrew Marascalco, MD

The average wait for my appt was a generous amt of time considering he accepts "walk-ins" pts who are referred by health care professionals in the same day;as well as pts who feel it is medically necessary to rtn earlier than their previous scheduled appt. Marascalco Derm pts vary in the ranges of diagnoses, such as a "lay person" not in the medical field could possibly comprehend. The practitioners see pts for promptly needed cancer surgeries to allergic reactions all in the same day. I find all the practitioners to be well competent and extremely Knowledgable in their diagnosis. I would definitely rtn again!

Wait time and environment was fine, and the staff was courteous, though not very knowledgeable in their field. The doctor was condescending, rude, and brusque (not concise, brusque). He answered two questions and didn't elaborate at all on his recommendations. He was impatient, wrote a prescription, and left the room abruptly after 10 minutes.

As a former patient I strongly recommend to anyone to go elsewhere, ANYWHERE ELSE, in order to seek dermatological treatment. Dr. Marascalco double books appointments. I waited a ridiculous amount of time (1.5 hrs) only to have Dr. Marascalco rush my appointment (6 min). He did not provide adequate medical treatment by any means. He was arrogant and condescending. His examination was humiliating and I left his office in tears. He also put my health at risk to a severe allergic reaction that if not for a different doctor alerting me, could have been extremely dangerous. I recommend checking his reviews on other websites, you will see this is the norm, not the exception. How he could possibly have anything above the very worst rating is beyond me, and clearly inaccurate.
