Dr. Mark Collins Kelley, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Mark Kelly in Grenada, Mississippi, for about 10 years, and have no complaints. He has treated me successfully for basal cell cancer twice. I trust him completely.

I’ve gone to Dr. Kelley for a few years and have never been completely satisfied, but I continued to see him since he’s the only dermatologist (but he’s not really) in Grenada. The straw that broke the camels back was when I had a mole removed from my back that was about the size of an eraser head. He left a scar about 4 inches long. He just cuts and freezes things with no concern about the scar that will be left.

I saw Dr. Kelley at the Grenada Clinic. He did not ask my history, would not allow me to speak without cutting me off. He kept calling me a picker and there was nothing he could do for me. He began injecting the back of my neck with something he did not explain or get consent to do. He did not give me a diagnosis but gave me injections and barked off a prescription to his nurse. I asked him what was it he curtly said the name but didn’t say how to use it, or any instructions. He did not have any concern that I had this problem for a year nor for the treatment I had in the past. He didn’t tell me to discontinue or keep using medication I was on prior to this visit. After the torturous 7 minutes he left. The nurse apologized to me and asked if I wanted to see another doctor. I declined and said I would never return. I felt completely abused. If I could sue him for injecting me without permission or explanation of the injection and not even telling me a diagnosis but continually telling… me I’m a picker and he nor anyone else could help me, I would. I plan to look into it. I asked if his treatment didn’t work should I return. He just stared at me and told me I was a picker and there was nothing he or any other doctor could do for me. If I truly did have a picking compulsion why did he not ask me why I did it and refer me to mental health? He is abusive, rude, dismissive, and condescending. He should be protested for how he treat paying consumers

He was very arrogant and condescending!! I brought my elderly friend to see him for Shinhles. He was very rude and talked down to her. He acted as though he did not want to be at work that day. Every time she would ask a question, he would huff as if he couldn't be bothered. The nurse had to explain everything to her, including medication instructions. It was ridiculous!! I definitely wouldn't recommend him to anyone, based on the fact, he had the worst bedside manner that I've ever seen. My friend will definitely never go back!!!

I was a new patient at Marascalco Dermatology Clinic at the Oxford location. I had a horrible experience. Although the nurses and staff were extremely friendly, I hate to say that Dr. Kelley was by far the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. Horrible bedside manner very impersonal and has absolutely zero respect for his patients. After asking "too many questions" seven minutes into my appointment he walked out on me and requested that I see another doctor. He is a poor representation for Marascalco Dermatology. I would recommend Marascalco due to their staff and nurses but by all means, request another Doctor.
