Dr. John S Marouk, DO

Dr. Marouk is hands-down the best neurosurgeon in this area. He saved my life! I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurosurgeon.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor. He hardly looked at my images, I was waiting to see him for an hour or more, his bedside manner is extremely lacking, and when he chalked up my pain to “my anxiety” that was the final straw. I am an extremely active person, I work 48 hrs a week, have 2 small children I care for, and my quality of life has been seriously lacking because of my pain. I went to Dr. Marouk for help and he treated me as if I was a drug seeker when all I am searching for is an explanation on why I am in so much pain and trying to find someone who will help me. He also very clearly said “she can walk a whole lot better now” in front of the entire staff and patients, while walking out as I was sobbing and so angry with the way I was treated by him. He wouldn’t even give me a referral to a rheumatologist that he suggested in passing. Waste of time, energy, and made me feel even worse than I already did emotionally from the chronic… pain.

You’re reading reviews so that’s means your smarter than I was. I just saw a few reviews that called Dr Marouk a shady liar and narcissistic. I have to agree. If you are seeing him for a workers comp issue, then your employer is probably already in his pockets. He is a bad human, and definitely a shady liar. He will lose zero sleep over leaving you in agonizing pain. Please save yourself and find a good Dr!

Whould notrecomend this doctor had surgery on my lumbar 5 and the pain is level 9 most of the time and I can not work and very hard to walk and is very hard to do anything

Dr. marouk made my back worse. I have constant pain and problems and he acted like I was okay. I'm going to another doctor and he says it is a mess.his staff is snob's and don't care. I can't work or walk or stand the same. His excuse is he is not god? Bad surgeon is what he is.

Would not recommend this doctor or staff. Can't walk with out pain. And can't work. He claims everything is ok with my spine? But I have to have another surgeon fix his mess. And his staff is very unfriendly..

Had 2 surgery's on my lumbar 5 and still got bad pain and can't do anything with trouble and can't work. Office help is the worst. Would not recommend him or office at all

Great skill & care was given to my husband during his recent spinal surgery for removal of a mass on his spine. Dr. Marouk was confident he could perform the surgery & all went very well. We couldn't be happier with the results or the Neurosurgeon. Very nice personality too!! His staff has been helpful as well. Thank you Dr. Marouk and your wonderful staff!!

Would not recommend him at all. Had 2 surgery s and the spine pain is still the same and is still very hard to walk.I will never be the same.

I was very unhappy with office help. Always had problems getting prescriptions filled. When I had my 1st. Surgery they had to put screws in to hold lumbar together and 1 of the screws move and gave me lots of pain and he gave me pain pills for 8 months before he would go back in and do anything about it.and after the 2 ND surgery I still had pain .after 8 months and could not anymore pain pills. When I needed to see the doctor for a Disability review to see what kind of work, they would not see me and said I had to get a court order to get it. They acted like they never wanted to help with a work release or any help with disability
