Dr. Daniel Martin Harwell, MD

I originally met the doctor at an emergency spinal surgery for my boyfriend. He probably would have been paralyzed had he not ended up in the ER where Dr. Harwell was called in for him. Another doctor had sent him home in agony just 3 days earlier. The surgery results were so impressive that I chose to see the doctor about my own spinal problems. He pinpointed areas no one else was looking in and the result is now making clear a problem which was treated inappropriately elsewhere. I have absolute trust should this lead me to surgery by his hands, which is not an easy ideal for me normally.

I've had several appointments with Dr Harwell and 2 advanced spinal surgeries. He found what was wrong even after 2 trips to mayo clinic could not. I found out later that he did way over and above the requirements for his specialty so that he could deliver the best practice.... And he does. Excellent Dr! I highly recommend!

I came in through the ER. Dr. Harwell was very patient with me taking the time to answer questions and thoroughly explain things. Very kind I was very impressed with him.

We was excited about finally meeting with Dr. Harwell. But when he cam in he down played the pain my wife had been experiencing. Was extremely rude and acted as if we was just a number. And another payment. He was so unprofessional. If you are recommended to see him run the other way!!!

I was actually looking very forward to meeting Dr Harwell. I had great reviews about him. I was distinctly disappointed. He seemed disinterested in me personally. I felt like I was just a paycheck that was taking up his time. He didn’t seem to care about the pain I had been living with for many years. And he didn’t seem to care. He down played my pain. I was sorely disappointed. And he didn’t want to get to the bottom of what was causing my pain. Check in and check out was his attitude. I will say he sent me to pain management that was incredible. They are doing a fabulous job with steroid injection shots. Other than that... I could not say a positive word. I have insurance. I paid my copay. And I am now fighting with this doctors office over a $780.61 bill. It’s ridiculous. Run the other way if you think this is a viable choice.
