I am a native of Maryland and initially came to Connecticut to train in internal medicine. Following a two year commitment to the Public Health Service in Pennsylvania, I returned to Hartford for a cardiology fellowship and joined the faculty at Saint Francis as director of cardiac rehabilitation and exercise laboratory in 1984. I am Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Associate Chief of the Section of Cardiology.
I hold the appointment of Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine (Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center).
