Dr. John Norville Mcatee, MD

He was very honest about my injury/infection. He showed great concern during my visit and provided me his personal cell phone number should the infection get worse. He impressed me with his knowledge of what I was dealing with.

I was having some major problems with the VA and Dr. Mcatee and his staff treated me with professionalism, respect and kindness. I was so impressed by this doctor and his staff that I am now one of his patients

I saw another doctor for an ear infection, and three days and $250 worth of medicine later, my ear was much worse. I called Dr. McAtee's office and they fit me in to see him that afternoon. He gave me $50 in prescriptions to be filled and by the next day I had major improvement in my ear. The whole side of my face was swollen from that ear to my nose when I saw him, and the next day it was almost normal again. It turned out the first antibiotic I was given by the other doctor will not even work on the ear bacteria that I had. Dr. McAtee is the best. Most doctors enter the medical field for a prestigious title and a good paycheck, but Dr. McAtee and very few others like him, entered the field because they truly have compassion and want to care for and help others. This man is my hero.

The most compassionate and competent doctor that I have ever met. The only reason I waited so long to see him because there were twelve other patients ahead of me all with emergencies. He has called me to check on me twice in three days.

I went to an urgent care clinic very very sick while on vacation in Gulf Shores. The wait time was just first come first serve as expected. Dr. McAtee took great care of me, diagnosed my problem, got me healthy enough to travel back home, and even called several times over the next week to check on me even after I was done with my one time office visit. If I lived in Gulf Shores he would definitely be my doctor.
