I actually enjoy going to the Doctor. He has a great sense of humor and will take time to listen. He gets to know you and he always asks about family members. He genuinely cares about you. He won't give meds just to give meds. If he does give you meds he checks around for the lowest price for you. The only drawback is trying to get in to see him, he is always busy. Once you do, he might be up to an hour late for your appointment. Of course, I always schedule to have the last appointment of the day. You have to realize he will take all the time he needs with you, so he is doing the same with other patients.

Dr. McCracken has saved my life. Best Dr ever and I have been everywhere, including the NIH. He takes his time and understands what to look for. I have leukodystrophy and no one seems to know about it. I absolutely love this guy. Will not go anywhere else!

Dr McCracken is the best doctor in the practice. I used to like seeing deirdre when he wasn't available but her assistant for the last few years is so strange and every time I'm in a room with her all I smell is cat urine. Anyway dr McCracken takes his time with his patients and will listen to you. Some of the staff are very rude especially the ones on the phones.

I was suffering from an unknown and at the time undiagnosed rare disease called polymyositis. Dr. Mccracken spent 2 hours with me looking over all the medical testing/history that has been done by the 11 other doctors before him who labeled with either fibromyalgia or said it was all in my head. Mccracken narrowed my illness down to one of a possible 3 things and sent me to the CORRECT specialists (An MDA/Jerry's kid doctor who specializes in rare disease) who FINALLY after 5 years of searching with other doctors FOUND THE REAL CAUSE OF MY PAIN!! He LISTENED TO ME and did not blow me off like 11 other doctors (including doctors from the University Of Michigan hospital) in the past have! And because of that we found out what was REALLY wrong with me! The proof of my disease was in my medically testing/history all along and all the other doctors IGNORED IT! I now get the treatments and medicine I need to help me with my polymyositis.

They don't listen to a thing you say. A lack of simple follow up questions in an effort to diagnose a fairly obvious problem (on quite a few occasions) caused me to stop going here.
