It was the best visit I’ve ever had with a primary care physician. He listened intently to what I had to say, wrote down every question I had, and was incredibly patient. He then answered every question and gave me a timeline of next steps. The office staff and other professionals were a delight. I could not recommend this group more!

I made the right choice. The staff was very efficent, kind & receptive. The nurse was patient, & listened very well. The Doctor has a great system. He listens to you & then asks questions. There was another Dr taking notes. The Doctor explains things with patience, & is straight forward. I'm looking forward to getting back to feeling better & healthier.

Update - 6/1/'23. Dr. John Melek (The Beloved Medicine) is fabulous! He is brilliant, caring and gets to the heart of your problem. He is the best Doctor my husband and I have used in years. My husband and I have been treated by Dr. Melek for about a year after I had the most unpleasant experience with my previous doctor and staff. He was recommended by the floor nursing staff when I was in Medical City hospital for the second time last year. Since our first visit to Dr. Melek he has always made himself available for both my husband and myself during some unforeseen emergencies and regular physicals. We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Melek and his wonderful and kind staff. As far as we are concerned he is the best Internist Medical City has to offer. The best Internist we have had the great pleasure of seeing in a very long time. Doctor Melek is both a caring doctor and a lovely man. He cares for my husband and I, and we are truly blessed to have him for our Internist. Dr. Melek is an excellent Doctor with a brilliant bedside manner. He listens to your needs and works on keeping you healthy. Gives great advise. He is fabulous!

Coming from a bad experience with my wife's former Primary, Dr Melek and his staff have been a welcome surprise. His nurse phoned on a holiday weekend to make sure she had gotten her medications and Dr Melek followed up on Monday with test results.

Excellent manners, well experienced doctor who took care of my mother. He took his time in getting history, performing medical examination, as well as followed up in her. Would definitely recommend him to all my relatives. Well trusted.
