Dr. John William Meyers, MD

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Meyers. He was so nice and immediately put me at ease. He went over my past gynecological history, examined me and asked me if I had any questions or concerns. He was very personable and I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

I love Dr. Meyers. I have been going to him off and on for over 20 years. I have trust him will all my healthcare needs. He has been around a long time and is very knowledgeable. I feel that I can talk with him about anything including his nurse Michelle, she is so loving and caring and very knowledgeable as well. If u are looking for a obgyn he is the best in the business and u won’t be disappointed, just be open and honest with him and he will help u. He has help me through now 4 miscarriages. I am very loyal to him and will drive the 40 minutes to see him for as long as I live.

Went for my yearly physical was in and out by 30 min. Dr. And staff answered all my questions.

We were referred to Dr. Myers by a good friend. Our 1st visit went well and they had answers to all of our questions. The next visit is when it all went downhill. 1st we were told that labs would be needed prior to our next appointment. We questioned the location and the staff was defensive...all we were trying to do is make sure that we were being sent to the correct place and not get charged additionally for being out of network. We then received a phone call from a facility wanting to schedule an ultrasound...had no idea we were even having one...no one at the office said a word. The facility that called was not our insurance preferred. We called the office, was sent to voice mail to leave a message. Several days later we received a call from a different ultrasound facility...At least this was the right one...but still no word from the office. Finally received the lab results during our next visit...only to find out that we were still missing one...so back to the lab we went. We… called the office a couple of weeks later for something else and was informed that the office had been trying to reach us. We received NO calls and NO voice messages. We were told that they did call and that we should call our phone company...REALLY!! We were informed that the ultrasound was not to the providers' liking and it would need to be redone. SO is that the ultrasound techs fault? Are we supposed to just pay for another ultrasound? Do not really feel like the staff at this office are very friendly. I think we will be looking for another provider halfway into our pregnancy.....Just feel like this is a time that should be filled with joy and instead they are created sooooo much additional stress!!!!!

I was referred to Dr Meyers through Dr Black, a general surgeon. I felt kind of rushed through my first appointment and that made me uncomfortable. But Dr Meyers did answer all questions I had and took good care of me. His staff was always willing to answer questions I'm with kindness and patience. Dr Black put me more at ease when he told me about a re-operation Dr Meyers had to do. I had to have a surgery to remove an ovarian cyst that was the size of a baby. While I had trouble agreeing with other doctors and their ideas for where the cyst was located, Dr Meyers was very confident in his quick findings and, as it turns out, he was right! While I had to move a few weeks after the surgery, Dr Meyers said I would be ok without a 6-week follow up appointment. If I ever went back to Florida, I would definitely choose him as my doctor again.

Dr. Meyers is amazing. Great bedside manner and very professional. His staff is always friendly and helpful, too.
